This one has really got me stumped, I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. I’ve been talking to my host provider for the last 3 hours and he’s got no idea either.
Basically, I upload an image and WordPress does everything it is supposed to (which is put it into the uploads folder, and resize the image to the various default sizes – including thumbnail!).
Then when I set the image to be a ‘featured image’ which makes it a thumbnail for the post, it won’t display the thumbnail – it’s just a broken image.
I’ve done a bit of troubleshooting, and it seems when I ask WordPress to point the thumbnail at the post (either using featured image, custom field or using a function within my theme) it tries to grab the thumbnail from a DIFFERENT URL (it throws a “/home” into it). It’s possible it’s doing this because I moved hosting providers a couple of months ago, but it’s only doing it for thumbnails.
But “/home” does not exist anywhere, so of course the image is going to be broken.
Images work fine within posts themselves, and I can see them all via FTP after I upload an image. But where it is pulling this extra /home from, who knows?!
I have no idea how to fix this though, any ideas?

Any help is much appreciated, thanks a lot.
