Thumbnails wont cover page width (4 posts)

    Hi, I am using WordPress to build my first website for my artwork, I have been messing around with everything and cant work out how to make my thumbnails on one of the gallery pages to cover the width of the page. This is the site http://www.bradleymacmath.com

    The problem is on the Mixed media page, it looks like I still have a sidebar as it cuts off a portion of the last thumbnails, just with nothing in but I thought I chopped out the bits of code that showed the sidebar. I'm quite new to this so any help would be appreciated. What code should I be looking for to get rid os the sidebar? And is there a way to make thumbnails bigger, as these are the maximum sizes I can show even when I increase the thumbnail size in the gallery settings... Any help would be good Ive been trying to sort this for a couple of days now.

    it still needs adaptation in style.css to stretch the content area over the full width.

    you will need to add something like:

    .page #content { width:100%; }

    working with a browser inspection tool such as Firebug will help to identify which styles are responsible for formatting which elements.

    do you want all static pages without sidebar?
    if not, you might need to create a page template for those pages without sidebar (example: the 'mixed media' page); http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#Creating_Your_Own_Page_Templates

    Wow! That was fast, that sorted it. Thankyou so much, been fidling around in those code boxes for days now.

    Does anyone know where I put more than 5 thumbnails in each row?? I know I've seen a box before where you change how many there are but not sure where it was.

    Thanks in advance

    only a guess - have you checked the gallery shortcode 'columns' parameter? (or similar - I haven't NGG installed)
