Support » Fixing WordPress » Thumbnails on F8 Lite Blog entries

  • Hi started building my site last night and enjoying it alot – even though i am a total newbie ( and amazed at the amount of technical know how out there, are you all plugged into the Matrix or something!?). However what is frustrating is managing images on my blog entries – i cant seem to get the picture to display on my front page and i can’t see how to edit this.

The template has really nice pics below the main header image – i had to go into the php file and change the defaultt header image jpg to my picture as the custom header upload wouldn’t work!

So – i can upload images using the Media Library upload but dont know how to edit the front page to show the images on the blog introductions

  • keep the name default_header.jpg for your new header image and upload it through ftp under this folder f8-lite/images

    Thanks

Thanks so much – I did that and it works great. Any ideas about the thumbnail images or rather presenting the photos i post in blogs on the the blogpost description on the front page?

    Thanks

use custom field or take advantage of newer version WP. In post editor page you will get a feature image box at beneath of right panel. If your theme support the “post-thumbnail” option then you will get that. Also I think that you need some code changes of your front page file.

    Thanks
