If Featured image isn’t available, i set it to show the first image in the post. It seems both thumbnail width and height are set to 0. But something somewhere fails somehow so the widget uses the media thumbnail settings as fallback. * Please save the widget settings again. I reset it and saved the Widget again, but still no thumbview. Uploading via FTP is unusual in WP. Siteground dynamic caching module or the caching options in Sucuri WAF is causing the problem. Although new comments in the page are updated, the module doesn’t seem to update Widgets. It now works.
