    Hi!

I have problems with featured images and thumbnails.
I cant make thumbnails show right. Those always look centered, no matter what I do.
I disabled all plugins, cleared all type of catche. I have kept image size under 1024 just like in Media/Settings. I tried different images. It all did not help. I thought I have problem with DIVI, but they wrote me, that I am using wrong size images. So I tried various images, various sizes, pixels etc., but images are still centered. I checked/unchecked Crop thumbnails to exact dimensions. It all did not help.
I click on Set Featured image-Edit image-Click on option Thumbnail-Crop-Choose crop area size for thumbnail- Press Crop-Save-Choose featured image-Save.
What I am doing wrong? Thank you.

It looks like they’re centered vertically. Check out a plugin called My Eyes Are Up Here. It intelligently finds faces in images and makes them appear best. Alternatively, you can manually choose a hotspot in an image to be the best point. https://wordpress.org/plugins/my-eyes-are-up-here/

Thanx for answer, but plugin called My Eyes Are Up Here is useless for Extra/Divi theme- it is still making half thumbnails centered.
I found another solution. Right click on image in PC, then Edit with Photos, then Crop and Rotate, then Aspect ratio- Widescreen, then Save a copy.
Problem with this solution- you have to make 2 images: One for thumbnails- featured image, second bigger one for posts. It consumes twice more time.
It’s pity, that WP and Extra/Divi theme cant make one good solution for portrait type images, without wasting my time.
