Hi, I just installed the FPW and I guess I’m not doing it right. I indicated that I wanted the thumbnail to show, and it doesn’t. There are only three posts and two have thumbnails.

Also, I’d like some of the post text to appear under the post title as I’ve seen in the screenshots, but I don’t know how to do that.

The site is http://www.baggettfamilyfarm.com (it’s not live yet and is pretty chaotic). The FPW is only on the home page, bottom right.

    Thanks

    Hi Martin,

Sorry for the delayed response. If your posts do indeed have a Post Thumbnail (Feature Image), and you’ve checked the box to show thumbnails in FPW, then they will display. I’m guessing you’ve added images to the posts, but not actually set a Feature Image while editing the posts.

As far as adding the post excerpt or content after the title, you’d need to create a FPW custom HTML template for that and add the excerpt or content template tag in your custom template. See this support thread for an example of this.

Hopefully that helps. Thanks for using the plugin!

Could you make it pick the first image of each post instead of featured image? many people host images externally like me so no thumbnails for us.
