• I have the plugin installed, and I can start the crop process. However, the thumbnails from the “View” tab are not being saved and displayed as site thumbnails. I also do not see the “save” disk image next to the individual thumbnails. I dont know if these are related.

I look forward to your reply. Thanks!

The save image only appears after the crop is successful. If you use the save and crop option (which crops without the review process, does the crop operation work? If not, enable debugging (Settings → Post Thumbnail Editor) and check the javascript console for any errors.

I do have the save function, but it is still not showing up on the portfolio archive page with a cropped image.

There are 2 options, neither is just “save”. The default operation is “Crop”, but if you expand the options menu you’ll see an option “Crop and Save” (http://sewpafly.github.io/post-thumbnail-editor/editor/#advanced-cropping-options). Is this the option that you are using?

    • Did you enable debugging?
    • Is there anything in the javascript console/error log?
    • Have you tried disabling all your other plugins?
