Title: Thumbnail Issues Last modified: August 22, 2016 --- # Thumbnail Issues * Resolved [fisnollo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/anollo/) * (@anollo) * [11 years, 11 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/thumbnail-issues-6/) * I installed the plugin last night and am having a couple of issues with thumbnails. * 1) For posts that do not have a Featured Image, Contextly is pulling an image from the overall page, but not always from the post itself. In some cases, this means it’s pulling an unrelated image from the sidebar, including sponsor advertisement images. * 2) In trying to replace thumbnails for affected posts, I’ve added featured images, but the thumbnails are not updating. I’ve tried the work-around suggested in [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/old-images](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/old-images) without success. However, that may not be happening at this point. There is a request on our side to look into the issue.
