thumbnail image in widget sidebar

I have posts with title, description and a custom field with name thumbnail. all it showing properly on blog page, but when i create widget at sidebar the heading latest post and thumbnail and title showing only. its showing title but not shoeing image. when i click to show view source in src=”” (src is blank) but when i using same code to blog page its showing perfectly. anybody help me?
