There is a problem generating thumbnails for your gallery. Please check that your hosting provider has the GD Image Library extension installed and enabled. If thumbnails cannot be generated, then full-sized, uncropped images will be used instead. This will result in slow page load times, and thumbnails that do not look correct.” * However, this is on WP Engine, where I have multiple other sites using FooGallery + Albums with the same set of plugins and the same custom base theme with no errors. WP Engine support says GD Image Library is never installed on their servers– so why are the other sites working fine, no FooGallery issues? This test is done on an image in the plugin folder and NOT the usual uploads folder where media is uploaded to. The images in the gallery are shown at all different sizes even after clearing the thumbnail cache. * Where is the test image? On our site, calls to http:// were not properly directing to [https://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/thumbnail-generation-alert-2/?output_format=md). Fixing that issue caused the Thumbnail Alert issue, because our WP site URL was still set to http:// (left over from our development site. We only recently launched the site.) Once we changed the WP site URL to [https://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/thumbnail-generation-alert-2/?output_format=md), the FooGallery thumbnail generation issue resolved.
