• Hi, I’ve spent hours trying to get the NextGen Gallery v.2.0.33 to work in WordPress Responsive Theme v.1.9.39 using WordPress v.3.7.1
Everything works fine until the Gallery is uploaded to the page, then I just see ONE thumbnail which doesn’t respond in any way.
I have followed every tutorial, even made the Gallery as small in file size as possible – reloaded and restarted everything. I’m stumped!
Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

  • WordPress Responsive Theme v.1.9.39

    Which theme do you mean?
An URL to the theme and an URL to the page with the problem could be useful.

Thanks for wanting to help out. The theme actually is Responsive: http://wordpress.org/themes/responsive
The page is on my home xampp server, so won’t be presently accessible to you. Perhaps that’s a problem – although all other plugins and widgets work fine.
Other aspects of NextGen work e.g. thumbnail cropping, changing the photo order in the gallery etc. But as I mentioned above when I publish the gallery all that appears on the page is one very dead thumbnail.

I’ve read about a conflict with that theme and Nextgen, but for the responsive menu and it has been fixed.
You have to see if the error still occur if you switch to the WP default theme and deactivate all other plugins, clearing your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating. If the outcome is positive, reactivate one at a time until you find out the culprit.

I will try doing that, thank you for taking the time to answer.

My site has a problem loading the images, as soon as the “gallery” is put into the page, it blanks the whole page on my site..

It was just working yesterday, I haven’t changed anything…
    ???

I have a thread up about this.

    Thanks!
