# Thumbnail error

 * Hi, i am using elegant theme by moon themes and the newer posts appear on the
   main page with the thumbnails. When you click on the post you reach the full 
   post with an image on top. But i can’t add any thumbnail or image to a post. 
   I did what the theme instructions say, i created custom fields and some more 
   ways but i couldn’t manage it. There appears a tool under the post write screen
   and it says only write the complete URL of the image and the theme generates 
   the thumbnail for the main page and the image for the full post but it doesn’t
   work. Any help?

 * I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from
   the theme’s vendors.

 * Actually i m not using a commercial theme, i use free theme created by moonthemes,
   not elegantthemes

 * Sorry. I mis-parsed “elegant theme”. However, your chosen theme is not released
   under GPL. Non GPL products are not welcome in the WordPress community. Official
   WordPress policy states that all plugins and themes that are publicly released
   are required to adhere to [http://wordpress.org/about/gpl/](http://wordpress.org/about/gpl/)
 * Any support requests for non-GPL products are usually ignored, in the interests
   of supporting the community and its freedoms.
