Thank you for reporting this issue.
This issue should be solved in the next update (I have a fix), I just have to find the time to push it out.

You can download the most current version here if you would like to test the fix.
Hi everyone,
I am also having trouble with my images. The thumbnails to my posts do not load. Instead they have that evil blue box with question mark.

Can anyone help advise who to resolve this tormenting issue?
Many thanks in advance!
youngwildandbroke, start up a new thread (this one is resolved), and try to provide some more information. (Here’s a good starting place: http://sewpafly.github.io/post-thumbnail-editor/editor/#support)
sewpafly. Thank you. I downloaded your thumbnail plugin. but still having problems. (its totally me not the plugin I suspect)
And how do I start a new post? I cant seem seem to work it out
Thank you
@youngwildandbroke – On that link I referred to earlier there are some “in-depth” instructions on the different configuration options (http://sewpafly.github.io/post-thumbnail-editor/editor/#usage).
The short version is that you can upload your pictures like normal (using the wordpress interface) then modify their thumbnail crops using this plugin. In order to get the cropped thumbnail into your post you need to have a theme that supports post-thumbnails. (Or you can use another plugin of mine called “Post Thumbnail Extras”) (See http://sewpafly.github.io/post-thumbnail-editor/extras for more information).
@sewpafly
Thank you again for help. But you might just abhor me now. I used Post Thumbnail Editor and cropped image and clicked little floppy disc icon to save. But still no thumbnail.
Then I downloaded Post Thumbnail Extras. I went to Setting->Media and click green plus sign. Still nothing. I am for sure an idiot and doing something wrong here.
Try to enable the debug mode (Settings → Post Thumbnail Editor) and try cropping again. You can see what the current thumbnails look like on the “view” tab. Also, in the settings page make sure your check the box to save the debug output to a file. After you try cropping, go look in this file to see if there are any error messages.
If you are using chrome or firefox try looking in the javascript console (ctrl+shift+j) for any error messages.
Maybe it’s time to start a separate support thread?
