thumbnail cropping not working in wordpress 4.8

    customizing the thumbnails doesn’t seem to work, they show up in the admin pages, but not on the website itself. the url for the thumbnails in the admin pages has ?i=some_number behind it, but the image itself is not updatet. i think i’ve tried everything, meaning i cleared the cache, recovered all images and tried again, reinstalled wordpress update… i think this is a bug since wp 4.8

    @gluckez – Please try re-inserting the display that is using the gallery with the modified thumbnails and/or clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous (if you did not clear it with the site caches previously).

    thanks for your reply, i’m sorry i didn’t see it sooner.
    appearantly, when i signed up for this site, i signed up to get an email
    for every possible post on the website, and i can’t turn it off.
    (it’s turned off in the settings on this website, so i shouldn’t get any)
    the problem i had has somehow fixed itself.
