Thumbnail creation problem.

    Hi there.

    I’ve a swear problem. I need thumbnail images. When I upload image then there is no thumbnail image created automatically. It was working fine before. I just switched to new VPS and I’ve this problem. I upgraded my VPS to more memory but problem is still there. Can anyone help me?

    Have you recently installed any new plugins?

    Yes, regularly I am doing this. Install and Un-install.

    I upgraded my VPS to 4GB and my problem is resolved. I think it was memory problem.

    I assume my problem is the same – I upload an image and then there is no thumbnail in the media library; and it gives a 404 if you try to link through to the full size image.
    This has happened out of the blue – no plugin installs. I was on 2.8.6 (or whatever was the latest 2.8 version). I have tried the browser upload (instead of flash) with the same result and also upgraded to 2.9 with no change.
    Also emptied browser cache.
    I rear the sticky about image uploader problems but none of it applies to me.
    Any ideas??
