• Hello,

Is anyone able to help? My gallery looks just as I would like it to look. Thumbnails are laid out in rows of four.

However, when I set the gallery to display the caption when the mouse is dragged over it, all images which I have written a caption for come out of a row of four and end up having a row entirely to them self. Also, only the first photo in each gallery will show the caption when the mouse is dragged over it.

In galleries that I have made previously this has not been a problem. It’s only just started happening, although all settings appear to be the same in different galleries. Below is a link to the problem page.

Thank you to anyone who is able to help.
    Joe

    Hi

I had a look at your gallery page. Did you perhaps have HTML in your captions? I have seen other issues when the thumb captions contained HTML which then caused issues in the browser.

    Hi bradvin,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry but I just realised that I had taken the captions off in that gallery so the problem wasn’t showing. Are you able to look again?

You will notice that I have only put captions and descriptions on the first three photos so far, but as I add captions and descriptions to other photos they also have the same problem.

You will also notice that only the first photo shows the caption when the mouse is dragged over it.

    Thanks for you time!

Ah, and no HTML written in the caption box. I wouldn’t know where to start with any coding.

I have clicked the show captions setting again so you should be able to see the problem if you are able to look at the same link again.

    Thanks.
