 * Hello,
    thanks for a cool plugin. sorry if this question is silly but im still
   a bit of a noob when it comes to wordpress. i am trying to get my gallery to
   a place im happy with but at the moment, the thumbnails are cropping my images
   so they look funny. Ive gone into media settings and tried ticking and unticking
   the crop button without any difference. they were uploaded as 1180 x 780 at original
   size and ive tried sizing the thumbails at a size that keeps those proportions–
   link is here [http://www.andrasdeme.com/portfolio/](http://www.andrasdeme.com/portfolio/)
   also is there a way to have thunbails at the bottom of the slideshow? many thanks!
 * Jess

 * oh and also my metadata seems to be missing.. it used to show up and it is ticked
   in my media settings as show but it only gives the option to show in full size.

 * Hi Jessie!
 * Your images are using the Thumbnail gallery type at the moment, that’s why they
   are cropped the way they are. turning off the Tiled Gallery module if you want
   your galleries to not be cropped in that fashion.
 * As for the metadata, do you not see this on your Settings -> Media page? If not
   can you show me a screenshot of what you see? You can use [http://snag.gy](http://snag.gy)
   gor screenshots.

 * Hi Richard,
 * See below for screen shots showing that my metadata is ticked and my tiled gallery
   is off.
    Thanks, jess

 * When you create the gallery, you also want to change the gallery type to something
   else such as Tiled Galleries. Look at our support doc and my post about them
   to see what I mean:

 * Let me know if you need help with that still.
