Three Column Content Website

hey everyone 🙂

i have a quick question… i have a client that wants a website exactly like this:

he wants the three column layout with news links to be added to each column… i think that’s how he wants to section his posts off… ie sports one, column politics another.

is there a way that i can create a theme that specifies which column to put the news link in? or is there an add on or something? i wanted to use wordpress so it would be really easy for him to update… i also tried to convince him that the way he wanted this website was really confusing, but no luck 🙂 oh well, it pays the bills ha.

anyway, any advice would be great 🙂
