If you had asked for support I would have pointed you to my other plugin which only blocks BP pages and its absolutely free, you can get it here:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/private-bp-pages/
Lesson here is don’t review a plugin unless you ask for support first because it makes you look like a negative troll and discourages developers that go out of their way to supply you with a free product. Also your idea of a dropdown menu is unrealistic because if a person has 100 thousand posts/pages can you imagine how hard that would be to find in a dropdown menu? The premium version of Private Community For BP allows unblocking entire categories which may contain 100 thousand or more posts with a single entry in the plugins settings. Used in conjunction with this plugin:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/post-tags-and-categories-for-pages/
You could also unblock 100 thousand or more pages with a single entry in Private Community For BP Premiums dashboard settings.
    Peace!

Sorry about that, i’ll be sure to go to the support forums first next time. didnt mean to sound negative in my review.

This plugin is literally the best plugin for making BuddyPress into a private community. Thanks for the link to your other plugin i’ll go and test that out now 🙂

Updated: I just realised that i only gave this plugin 2 stars. what can i say, i’m an airhead, i wouldn’t title this almost perfect (to be almost perfect is pretty good in my view) and then only give it 2 stars, i wish i could change it.

It is okay, I didn’t mean to sound harsh either. My point was it is just best practice to contact plugin authors on the support forums before reviewing and no your not an “airhead” it was a simple mistake. Glad you liked the other plugin and thanks for the good review on it. Cheers!
