• I got following warning while deactivating better-wp-security plugin:

    alexus@j ~/alexus.org/wordpress]$ wp plugin deactivate better-wp-security
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class 'ITSEC_SSL_Setup' does not have a method 'execute_deactivate' in /usr/home/alexus/alexus.org/wordpress/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 525
    Success: Plugin 'better-wp-security' deactivated.
    [alexus@j ~/alexus.org/wordpress]$

also, while plugin is activated, it causes infinite loop between http and https URLs on my phone (Nexus 6P w/ Android M) and also my Linux workstation using Chrome browser on both platforms with following message:

This webpage has a redirect loop

    ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

as soon I disable plugin loop goes away, and this all start to happening right after I update home and siteurl to https instead of http URL to “secure” my blog)

You can find an explanation and quick fix for the plugin deactivation SSL warning issue in this topic.

As to the redirect loop message please check the following 2 settings in the iTSec plugin Settings page, Secure Socket Layers (SSL) section:

    • Front End SSL Mode
    • SSL for Dashboard
