 * I’m on Xampp for linux 7.1.7 in Ubuntu.
    I installed the plugin and get the message“
   Error: This users root directory is not readable. Please have your site administrator
   correct the Add From Server root directory settings.” The htdocs directory is
   owned by the same user. Any solutions?

 * Hello i was getting this error but i fixed. Go to your plugins section on wordpress
   and click on “options” link under the Add from server plugin. And select the 
   radio button which says “Any users with the ability to upload files listed below”.
   type your username to textbox. then try again to upload.
