    Hi!

We are a little nervous about this plugin being the forced option in some months when Paypal Express Checkouts is being deprecating. This plugin is not production ready at all. Core functionality is not in place.

    * This payment option ignores the terms and condition agreement box. Making it possible to start the payment without agreeing to the terms.

    * There is an option to enable card payment in the settings, but it displays an error message with “Card payment is not available in your country”. Card payment has always been available in Sweden, and the card option is available in the checkout even though it is not possible to enable it in admin. What does this option even do?

    * The “Pay with card”-button in the checkout loads the card form very very slow. Up to 5-10 seconds. With no indication that something is loading. Leading to double clicks and a really buggy experience.

    * Its not possible to test the plugin in Sandbox mode since the auth process ends up in a loop where it says that the email has to be verified. We have had the sandbox account for years, and the email was verified 2-3 years ago. It is not possible to verify again. No mail is being sent since this step was already done many years ago.

Will the plugin be finished by the deadline date?

  • Some of our customers are also reporting that randomly the option to Pay with Credit Card disappears on checkout page. We are hitting our head against the wall trying to replicate. This forced upgrade has really messed with stability for our customers as well.

    Time to move to Stripe!

    Hi!

Today is your deadline to switch to Paypal Payments and this plugin is still not production ready.

All the bugs mentioned above remains, core functionality is not in place while forcing the switch.
