• This plugin is not compatible with buddypress or the theme compatible with buddypress!

After installing this plugin and setting it up after a free account = 0 dollars, the website became unavailable other than a page with info about paid membership or free membership.

No matter what I clicked on the menu on the website, it was locked to this page! Just had to uninstall the plugin to get access to my websites again. Now i looking for other solutions that could possibly be compatible!

    Hi Ketil,

I’m sorry for the frustration caused. There are a lot of moving parts when creating a social media/community website and memberships/content restriction.

This sounds like correct behavior when using the Paid Memberships Pro BuddyPress Integration. We often redirect away from a BuddyPress component/page to a lock page for non-members or logged-in non-members (logged-in users that don’t have the relevant membership level). This depends on the BuddyPress settings, and if you are locking down all of BuddyPress or not.

To confirm if this is working, you can assign your admin account the relevant membership level or adjust the “View As” feature in Paid Memberships Pro 3.0+ to give yourself access without requiring a membership account – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/content-controls/view-as-feature/

I haven’t been able to find a support ticket with this account or username. If you would still like assistance to work through this or have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new ticket here and we will gladly assist you to get to the bottom of this – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/paid-memberships-pro/#new-topic-0
