  • This plugin is pretty… ridiculous… coming from a company like twitter. By reading the description you expect a plugin with lots of options and customization’s. The description leads you to believe you will be able to embed your twitter feed via a widget.. this is not the case. It simply adds a follow button. Also, the whole reason I downloaded anyway was to use the periscope “OnAir” button. However that widget doesn’t really work as expected either. Instead of getting a nice pretty button, you get a plain text link. The text is your periscope username, and clicking on it does NOT open your periscope profile (when not streaming) in a new window… it instead loads the page in the same window your browsing the site from… so you totally lose any and all semblance of site continuity. I suggest twitter make TWO plugins… one for just twitter, and one for just Periscope… and allow Periscope users to embed the actual LIVE VIDEO feed into the site, not just a on air button. Ohhh and yes I did try the code on periscopes website to embed the widget as well instead of using this plugin. I get the EXACT same result with that code. Come on Twitter/Periscope. Are you guys really that lazy?
