# This plugin causes problems with themify theme

 * I`m using parallax themify theme.
    Since I downloaded the event manager, suddenly
   some of my section-posts don`t show up anymore. They are ordered by date. If 
   I add a new post, it does show up. But some of the older ones not. The problem
   is solved when I deactivate the event manager. So it is most likely caused by
   this plugin. I would love to use the event manager, can you help me?

 * Can you post a link to your site? Most of the time this kind of problem is caused
   by a theme incorrectly loading jQuery.

 * sorry but this works on my test site and one of the cause might be a conflict
   with your theme; can I know if your theme uses custom post type also?

 * Yes, my theme uses custom post types. Besides the standard ‘posts’ and ‘pages’,
   the theme has ‘sections’, ‘highlights’, ‘portofolios’ and ‘teams’.
 * My problem appears in the order of ‘sections’. I don’t use the other custom post
   types, so i don’t know if the problem appears there too.
    The theme I am using
   is ‘parallax’ by themify.

 * maybe you can ask the theme provide and they may have a quick fix to this if 
   needed.

 * Problem solved. The custom post type sections caused the problem. I contacted
   the themify theme and they suggested to disable the sections display and instead
   use their Builder to create the home page.
 * The new version of the theme in fact disables Section post type (see: [http://themify.me/blog/section-post-type-removed-parallax-flat-theme](http://themify.me/blog/section-post-type-removed-parallax-flat-theme))
   and uses Builder to create the page.
