  • Hi. I used a paid version of the calendar on two of my clients about a year ago. Now since the latest release it is ridden with bugs. For some reason the calendar no longer shows up the way I want it to and I’ve tried for several days to figure out what was going on. The latest release just doesn’t work like it did before. I blame the developers. They shipped a very buggy release and its no longer a very good program.

    I’m really sorry to hear that, @virgilvergara – that’s the last thing we want for our users.

    We do extensive testing before each release but, unfortunately, we can’t always catch everything – problems with non-default themes and other plugins in particular can sometimes slip through, simply because it is not possible to test every combination – however we’re always happy to investigate and see what we can do to help (and to improve our processes going forward).

    On that note, did you reach out to our support team for help with this? If not, please consider asking us for assistance: depending on the nature of the problem, there may even be a fairly simple fix 🙂

    Hello Barry. After further testing I have come to the conclusion that it is not the fault of The Events Calendar plugin and that it is because of the theme that I was using. I did not update the theme and it was in away conflicting with the Events Calendar. Everything is working now and I’m not enjoying this plugin working the way its supposed to. Hats off to the Events Calendar team. I’m revising my 1 star rating to a 5 star rating.
