    I have spent HOURS looking for a simple download manager that satisfied the following requirements:

    1. Not overly complex
    2. Well-written quality code that won’t introduce vulnerabilities
    3. Allows the users to download PDF files to their hard disk rather than open them in a browser tab
    4. Has good user reviews

    After many hours of frustrating searches through alternative plugins, I found Delightful Downloads, and it is delightful!

    I can choose whether to allow the user to open the pdf in a new tab in their browser, or to download it to their hard disk.

    The big bonus is that it will handle revisions superbly. The client needs only to replace the outdated file with the new revision, and all links on the website will automatically point to the latest revision. No more need to have to edit every link. Thank you, thank you, Ashley 🙂
