    If you did not like the new version, you are still able to use the old version of the plugin (local), which functions as before and can be enabled within the plugin’s settings.

    I’d also like to clarify that we were maintaining Broken Link Checker since 2019 (as announced here), and the aim of the recent updates is to improve the plugin as a whole with the help of a new cloud-based engine.

    In any case, we do appreciate your feedback and will work on improving the plugin with future updates.
