This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?

  • After my last post, I went to visit site and saw

“This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.”

below the header and my post as a link below the remark. Can anyone tell me why this is happening or how to fix this so that my latest post show up

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your current version of WordPress.

also, its possible you accidentally setup your last post incorrectly. id would back track and take a look at the post. it may be pointing to an area thats inaccessible or doesnt exist.

sometimes if link is bad, or wordpress cant find what its looking for it will re-direct you back to the home page too.
