THIS IS BS! Can’t change HEADER IMAGE!

    What the hell is this shyt. I have searched the forum and nobody’s answered this question.

    First of all I completely understand the file hierarchy. So it’s not about a file being in the wrong place.

    I know css inside and out. So it’s not about an incorrect link to the image.

    SPECIFICS: I’m using the kubrick default layout. Latest wordpress version.

    Tried clearing cache and cannot get my damn custom image to show up. It just continues to display that blue background. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO!

    I modified the php header file (even though I don’t speak php which I shouldn’t have to for this!) and that just made the entire body of the page repeat my image and still didnt effect the actual header!

    I’ve already read this like 10 times.

    Actually I did exactly what this said b4 I came here. then I read it 10 times.

    Well, IF you uploaded your image to the right folder (e.g., the folder for the theme you’re using) AND you called it correctly in that theme’s header and/or your style.css file (which you also uploaded), then it should be displaying.

    Since you’ve not provided a link to your site, nor given any actual detail of what you’ve done, it’s hard to guess what the problem is.

    I’m in a very similar situation. I’ve tried everything on that link, and I can’t get the header image to change. I can get the footer image to change using the exact same method.

    I’ve got this in my stylesheet:

    background: #eee url(‘images/jeffheader.jpg’) no-repeat bottom center;

    Nevermind, I figured it out!

    I had changed the color of the image in the header editor in the admin side. I hit the Default colors button, and the image showed up! I wonder if this would have worked for Miked24.
