• For some reason, I thought it was going to be complicated, but it couldn’t be simpler. This one plugin does well what so many other plugins almost do. It also doesn’t have a lot of crappy styling that you just have to override; it’s quite nice by default and minimal enough that customizing it with a little CSS should be a breeze.

The only question I have is: can I change the URL where it says “aw-simple-sorter” to something like “portfolio” or “work”?

Thanks for the review! You can definitely change the post type slug by going to the settings page of the plugin once you activate it. The settings link will be in the Simple Sorter dropdown in the WordPress admin menu.

LOL, I just went to the FAQ to see if there was anything about any mobile considerations and I read what is there. I guess my title for this review was perfect: “This is awesome”

I’m developing locally so I can’t access this on my cell phone. This is mobile-ready, right? I see it’s responsive, so I assumed there are no issues with clicking / touching, etc.

No issues that I know of or that have been reported in the support forum. It is mobile ready, I’ve included a couple media query break points in the CSS. You can always add your own too if you want additional break points.
