# Thinking about WordPress

 * Hi there,
 * I have built some websites and have used a WYSIWYG. I am in the midst of changing
   host companies from 1and1 to Bluehost and I see that you can build a blog using
   WordPress. I went through a demo and it didn’t seem that hard.
 * How hard is it to install and build from a WordPress theme if I have very little
   XML and HTML knowledge?
 * Also, one of the goals is to monetize the blog. I know that there is a difference
   between WordPress.com and WordPress.org as far as being allowed to monetize.
 * Thanks for your help, I look forward to your input.

 * Judging by the questions on this forum, its quite hard.
 * Ask yourself whether or not you can read and follow simple instructions.
 * Im not being rude — on the contary, part of the problems people have is that 
   that they dont read, and they dont follow directions. If youre one of those types,
   youre going to have it harder than you think.

 * My question is which one, WordPress.com or WordPress.org, are you allowed to 
   monetize?

 * you cannot monetize blogs hosted at wordpress.com (for the obvious reason that
   its a free service).
 * I understand they have a paid upgrade that allows you to monetize.
