  • Here are a few things I noted today when I was sending out two newsletters. For now I don’t consider them bugs as much as odd behavior.

The web page that users can go to to see a newsletter is not responsive. It lacks (at least) a viewport tag.

Also, there’s no meta data on the above page, so it’s not very useful to link to it from the site itself, in a list of posted newsletters.

Outlook 2016 can’t show pictures in a newsletter, and instead says “The linked image cannot be displayed”. Works fine in Mac OS and in Gmail though.

E-mails are sent very slowly and in batches of 8. I needed to click “Trigger the delivery engine” until all had been sent. Why not send them all at once, as fast as the e-mail queue and e-mail transfer allows? An issue with pseudo cron?

    Regards,
    Anders

About delivery speed, consider to change it on newsletter main settings and check the status panel to see if the wp scheduler is working correctly, otherwise setup and external trigger (see documentation on official site).

The engine runs every five minutes if the wp scheduler is correctly working.

    Stefano.

    I’ve adjusted accordingly.

    Status and Settings looked fine.

    Thanks.
