• I’m disappointed with the plugin. It works well, but visits are counted completely differently than GA. I’ve seen their Q&A page, but I don’t accept it. I have 50-70 visits a day, but according to Optimole, I even had 300 visits one day. I don’t make a cent with my site, and I don’t see the point in paying for such fraud.

    There’s the option to add a badge to my site and get another 20,000 visits. When I asked how their badge is integrated into my site, how it’s visually visible, I received a generic “answer” with no content, I was none the wiser. Very disappointing; perhaps a bit less standard / AI answer and more customer support would be useful. I Implemted the badge to test it, but I am so not happy with it.

    Please note that the way visits are counted in tools like Google Analytics differs from how Optimole tracks them. For instance, Analytics may not capture visitors using browsers with JavaScript disabled, ad blockers, or certain privacy settings. In contrast, Optimole tracks image delivery events and counts an active user once per 24-hour period. This means:

    • Two visits from the same user on the same day are counted as one.
    • Visits from the same user on different days are counted separately.

    Due to these different tracking methodologies, it’s not unusual to see higher visit counts in Optimole compared to traditional analytics platforms.
