• I just deleted the page my blog was using for a homepage in favor of a recent post list and now the text on my sidebar (recent posts, categories, etc.) looks thick and ugly (like it’s been bolded). But when I’m on any other page, my sidebar looks fine. Can anyone tell me where I’d look to see what’s changing my text on the homepage only? My blog URL follows:

  • It looks like the plugin your using has everything in strong tags which essentially is bolding the text. Look in the options there might be something about the formatting other wise you’ll have to edit the plugin code itself.

I haven’t installed or activated any plug-ins. When I select my front page to display a static page I create, the text looks fine. It’s only when I select my front page to display recent posts that the sidebar text bolds. That can’t be normal.

In your bottom post (Ayhan’s…) you have an unclosed <strong> tag right after the last word [Kosher]. So it is normal to have everything after that (i.e. your sidebar) in bold!

Duh! Thanks Moshu. That fixed it. 🙂
