There is NO way this plugin helps with stopping people from copying content off your site. A simple F12 or screenshot will enable people who want to copy stuff.

But what it DOES is disable or handicap screenreaders. Or prevent genuine copy-paste actions like copying a shop-adress to my contacts file.

Please don’t use a plugin like this. It doesn’t help at all; it only makes the web a little worse navigating.

Still 2 stars because it’s decent coding 🙂

    Hi wp-buy.

I’m not trying to punish. I’m actively discouraging other people from using a plugin like this.
    – It gives a false sense of security.
    – It disables or hinders screenreaders
    – it hinders other usages like copying telephonenumers so clients can put your business into their addressbooks
    – It does not protect at all from people who really want to copy stuff. So it only helps scriptkiddies and is generally bad for your site.

If you would mention in your summary that installing this plugin doesn’t help at all against stealing but only gives a small barrier for unskilled people it would be very transparent and fair.

I can see that you know how to code. There must be better ways to put that to good use?
