The events calendar no longer shows any of my events, instead I get the message “There were no results found.”

I have the plugin and WordPress completely updated.

How do I fix this? It’s been like this for over a week now.

    Hey @raheemr,

Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you to solve it!

Last week we released a Hotfix (The Events Calendar to solve an issue related to the display of events in the default Month View. This issue was introduced with WordPress version 4.8.2 and impacts all previous versions of The Events Calendar.

Can you please update The Events Calendar and let us know if the problem is solved after that?

    My plugin is completely updated

You’re absolutely positive you updated? When I visit the URL you shared at the start of the topic it has all the hallmarks of still using The Events Calendar 4.1.3, which is not our current version.

Could something have gone amiss during the update process?

Here is a screenshot of my plugin screen. There is no option to update any further so I assume it’s completely updated:

Next to The Events Calendar in that screenshot it says 7.1.3 — the latest version though is 4.6. I’m not sure what would cause the version to display incorrectly there, unless some of our plugin code was modified directly (sometimes people to do this to stop update notifications from being triggered) or if another plugin/theme code is interfering.

Based on a bit of digging around using the URL you shared when you opened this topic, the actual plugin version appears to be 4.1.3 which is several versions behind at this point.

Is it possible you are working with a developer who may have ‘tweaked’ things on your behalf? If so you may want to reach out to them in case they did this to prevent changes made directly to the plugin itself from being overwritten on an update. Otherwise, I’d recommend that you:

    • Backup!
    • Delete The Events Calendar
    • Re-install it from scratch

Don’t worry, no event data should be lost (though in the unlikely event something goes wrong, you’ll have the backup with which to restore things).

I deleted and reinstalled the app. I still have the problem.

    Hi @raheemr,

I see a number of events appearing on your calendar. Are you still experiencing the same issue on your site?

The events are appearing now but the thumbnail images are not….

    Hi @raheemr,

I see the thumbnail images now, so I’m assuming everything is working as expected. Let me know if that is not the case!
