    Hi.

I am receiving the following error message when submitting “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

I need for our clients to be able upload several photos. I have set the max upload size of the plugin and php.ini to 100MB, increased the max files allowed to be uploaded to 100 on both the plugin and php.ini as well.

I can find the attachments in the temporary folder that is created on the server, but an email with the filled out form and attachments is not being sent.

Are there other settings that I need to change?

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @rughjm ,

There several file size limits on several email platform (ie: Google only allowed 20-25MB for their attachment).

So maybe the error shows because the attachment file is beyond the limit.

You may try and use send as links features.

    1. Go to Contact -> Drag & Drop Upload, check “send as attachment as link” option.

    2. In your contact form 7 -> Mail tab -> Message Body add [upload-file-name] (change this according to your fieldname )

Thank you for the response. After posting this I remembered that restriction with gmail. It explains why 24MB go through but 30MB will not.

I purchased your plugin to support and fully utilize. Thank you!

    One question I have…

Am I able to tell my clients the total MB that they have tried to upload before they hit submit? Similar to how there is a counter for the number of files being attached.

I would like some way for them to visually see that their submission will or will not work based on the size of the attachments.

@rughjm , currently the size will only show on individual file.

Showing the total size for all files requires custom/additional script.

Is that something I can hire you for?

    I’ll do it for free.

    Just email me glenmongaya@gmail.com.

Thank you, just sent the email.

    One more thing here…

When a file is compressed/optimized, is the original uncompressed/unoptimized file saved temporarily on the server?
