Hi there – I keep getting this error. Have reuploaded the plugin but its still coming. Your advice would be much appreciated.

There was an error accessing the WP REST API.
Instant Images requires access to the WP REST API via POST request to fetch and upload images to your media library.

@ignick108 that error indicates your server is blocking access to the WordPress REST API.

A security plugin or other nginx/htacccess rules could be affect this.

Thanks. I tried deactivating any security related plugins but same error.

It’s a Managed WordPress GoDaddy – any reason why that could be a factor.

How do you think I can troubleshoot this?

Seems like a great plugin and useful tool.

I’ve tried deactivating a couple of the security type plugins but it didn’t change. Below are all the installed plugins (not all are activated). Any ideas what the offender might be or how to get yours working?

@ignick108 Im not sure by looking at those plugins.
I wonder if you might want to reach out to your godaddy support to ask them what could be blocking the access.

I could take a quick look if they don’t have any answers.

I will speak to godaddy and let you know. Thanks for your reply.
