Today, while writing a new post for my website, I was asked to update all the publicize connections (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) in the editors sidebar.
No matter which connection I tried, all end up in the same error message “There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again or contact support.”

In addition, all connections show “Jetpack: [failed_publicize_action] Invalid Publicize ID” on the connections settings page.

I assume a problem in wordpress.com. Publicize was working the day before without problems…

    Any hints for me?

    Kind Regards
    Wolfgang

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Disconnect from WordPress.com”? Once you’ve done so you’ll be able to reconnect to WordPress.com by clicking on the connect button at the top of the page.

If you continue to experience issues, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!
