  • Resolved bottleneck

Well, just upgraded to the latest WP and CC.
The site became very slow and pages kept blinking upon clicking, Pingdom Tools was reading 30 sec to load.

I had no choice, I downgraded it back to the previous insecure versions.

It’s a time to jump CC ship, no doubt.

  • I upgraded the site again trying to find out what makes it slow.
Surprisingly, the site loads not so slow as before. I keep my eye on this.

I’ve been putting off upgrading to the latest version out of concern over how my site will respond to it, and also whether the CSS changes will be lost. Will be interested to know how your site continues to perform with the updated version.

Sure, thanks to the CC developers team, everything is fine so I marked this topic as resolved.

I didn’t upgrade the production site on a fly. I set a mirror site with old WP and CC theme versions and then upgraded it. There I spotted a trick how to start a slider working (I mentioned it earlier).

There was a performance issue after I upgraded the production site so I downgraded it. Everything runs smoothly after I upgraded the site again.

My CSS coding wasn’t lost after upgrade, I have used Theme Options – CSS – Overwrite CSS.
