    Hello

I have no issue with one page over another, but last night my site was majorly devastated by my host. I have repaired everything but now when i publish the apple News Plugin gives me this reponse:

There has been an error with the API: NOT_FOUND (keyPath articleId)

I am not tech-savvy to know what on earth to do here.

    The things I have tried:

Uninstall, delete and reinstall the plugin
Go to Apple News Publisher account and generate a new API etc and enter it into the plugin

    Neither of these worked…

If someone could help me out (and in the style of an idiots guide) I would be greatly appreciative.

    Many thanks

    Jim

What appears to be the issue here is that the stored article ID in the WordPress database doesn’t match what Apple has on its end in your channel. Does this error still occur when publishing a new (previously unpublished) article?

    Hi Kevin

Thanks for the reply. This does occur when publishing new content still for some reason. However most content I used a ‘create draft’ option to duplicate a post. I then change the content etc so I am basically reusing a template. I’m not sure if this has something to do with it?

Yes, it definitely could. If the “create draft” option duplicates all aspects of a post, including the Apple News article ID which is stored in postmeta, that could be a problem. You would need to hook into whatever you are using to copy the post to ensure that it does not copy over any postmeta keys that begin with apple_news_api_.
