Just updated to Version: 3.5.0.1 of the LiteSpeed Cache plugin.

Front end displays a white screen of death with message:

There has been a critical error on your website.

Learn more about debugging in WordPress.

Turning on debug does not display any technical info on the front end or in debug.log.

Moving the “litespeed-cache” folder to plugins.temp resolves the issue.

    We’re using WP v5.5.1.

    Help appreciated.

    Steve

    Hi
Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this!

We indeed see some issues that we’re working hard to resolve. The new version 3.5.0.2 should have fixed these issues, or if you can perform the two steps:
    – Turn off all CSS/js/page optimization options
    – Purge the cache for the site

Once again sorry for the issues caused! Let me know if the above helps!
    Thanks
    Eric

    Thanks.

Updating to 3.5.0.2, and then purging all resolved the issue for us.

    Cheers,
    Steve

We received another front end error today:

There has been a critical error on your website.

Learn more about debugging in WordPress.

We had to do another Purge All again.

    Hi,

Could you please check in PHP log , and see what it says ?

when critical error happens , it’s most likely a PHP error somewhere

    Hi.

There were quite a few instances of:

[08-Oct-2020 01:32:03 UTC] Can NOT find LSCWP path for object cache initialization in /home/user/insighthosting.net.au/wp-content/object-cache.php

    Hi,

    please try

    1. disable LSCWP

    2. rename file “/home/user/insighthosting.net.au/wp-content/object-cache.php” to something else

    3. re-enable LSCWP

    4. disable object cache and re-enable it , if you are using object cache , if not , please set it to OFF

    Best regards,
