    Good morning,

    http://www.pacificsupportservices.co.uk

Our website went offline yesterday displaying the error message “There has been a critical error on this website”.

When we try and login using the login link it throws the error message “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

We have spoken to the server hosts and they have notified that there is nothing wrong server side and that it must be a WordPress error. As the website was created many years ago we can’t find which email address was registered as admin. The email address we used to login to the website hasn’t received any emails and when we attempt to login to WordPress directly it says that the email is not recognised.

Is there any way of restoring the website without access to the original admin email address?

Or would we have to rebuild the website entirely?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Tom
