  • Hi,

    I’m using TwentyTwelve Child Theme and making a few customisations but am struggling with a few things:

    1. How do I remove this text from under the comments box:

    You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b>
    <blockquote cite=""> <cite>

     <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <strike> <strong> </p>
    <p>

    2. On the main sidebar, between the Title and the actual widget, there is a big empty space i.e. Search and then a massive space, then the field to enter a search into. Is there a way to remove this space?

    3. I’m currently using custom CSS to remove all the ‘posted on XX in XX tagged with XX’ section, however I’d really like to be able to have the date positioned separately, and to only show which categories the post is in…without listing all the tags etc too. Is this possible?

    You’ll need to post a link for help with these.

    A link to my blog? It’s http://79.170.44.120/mynextproject.co.uk/

    Okay, for the first one, add this CSS:

    #respond form p.form-allowed-tags {
        display: none;
    }

    Second one – find this CSS in your child theme and change the margin-bottom:

    .widget-area .widget h3 {
        color: #FFA07A;
        font-family: Arial;
        font-size: 15px;
        margin-bottom: 1.71429rem;
    }

    Let me look into the last one – don’t see a quick answer.

    That’s great, thanks. The first one worked, I’ve got to wait to try the second one as for some reason I’m having problems getting into my ftp which is annoying. Will let you know how I get on with that.

    If you find an answer to the 3rd that would be fab!

    You can make the second changes in the dashboard –

    Appearance -> Editor -> style.css

    Fab thanks!
