[theme:twenty twelve] Front page wrong widget areas on update

    Running a Twenty Twelve child theme with a static front page.
    When I now update the front page it looses the two front page widget areas and displays the default right hand side widget area. Previous front page updates have behaved correctly, the last about a month ago.
    The page is still shown a as the static front page in the Customise menu.
    I’ve tried disabling all plugins and the fault still occurs
    Any help appreciated.
