I’ve spent HOURS searching for the problem and I get a solution that I’ve already tried or I know isn’t the case.
Just recently, for some odd reason today, when I tried to upload a new theme via dashboard it gives me this error “PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”. I understand this was an error that was solved a long time ago and I understand the solutions have to do with the http.php file and disk space. I also tried uploading the theme manually via ftp and although it does upload, it shows many design flaws and functionality problems it did not have before. I know it isn’t a theme issue because I tried multiple themes that have worked on my previous wordpress subdirectories. I also even deleted a bunch of crap on my ftp and ultimately, after talking with my hostgator representative, he said I did not go over my disk space.
I deleted, reinstalled, and tried everything I could with the wordpress installation, thinking it was probably a minor flaw. Even themes that are currently in use in my other subdirectories wont even be read by my new subdirectory when I try to upload the theme.
Anything that can help will be greatly appreciated!
Again the code I keep receiving is PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature, and I have already tried all the solutions.
