 * Are the themes and plugins I find in the control panel safe to use? Does anyone
   check them to make sure the code doesn’t contain anything malicious?

 * I try to only get plugins that have millions of users. Hopefully, those are better.
   I will try to get Automattic plugins if I can find them.

   they are added to the directories here at WordPress.org.

 * I don’t get them here. I download them from the admin control panel. I don’t 
   know how to install them manually.
