Themes Now Loading VERY Slow After WordPress Update In Last Few Weeks

Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer. On my website, I have 5 separate databases setup for 5 different pages that each have their own WordPress installation. About 2 weeks ago, I believe there was a WordPress update. After that update, all of the sudden 4 out of 5 of the pages/sites began to load extremely slow. I was able to fix 2 of them by deleting a plugin. However, I deleted that same plugin on the other 2 installations and they did not fix the extremely slow loading times.

I did speak with my hosting company Bluehost. Their support was lacking at best. Told me they can’t me with theme problems. Told me it was not a database error because they changed the theme to the default and the site loaded quickly. Both of my themes are up to date as well.

Can anyone PLEASE give me any type of insight as to why these 2 pages are loading so slow? We’re talking 3-5 mins. I’ve researched this problem pretty thoroughly and have not been able to find any solution.
