 * So I was just figuring out how to change certain pages to make them writable
so I could change the themes in the WordPress dashboard, so I was changing the
index.php and the style.css of a theme I made to the code 666 (like it said on
one of the wordpress pages to do). But after I did that, I did something really
stupid and thought that I should change the themes folder to that code too because
I thought that would make it so I could edit the themes.
    After I did that, the
themes disappeared and now my website is a blank page and I don’t know how to
fix it. Basically, I’ve now tried to delete the themes folder, but an error message
comes up in my FTP and says there is “no such file or directory.” I know I didn’t
explain that well at all, but if anyone knows of something I could try to do
that would be really helpful :). If you want more information or if you need
me to explain it again, I can try that haha.

 * Try changing the themes folder back to 0755, if it still exists in your ftp client.
If it is gone, [download the WordPress package](http://wordpress.org/download/)
and extract the themes directory from that, then upload just the themes directory
   to //yoursite.com/wp-content/

 * The weird thing is that when I click “get info” to go to change the permissions,
it says that the folder doesn’t exist, but then when I go to reupload the themes
folder to the wp-content folder, it says the file already exists so I can’t upload
   it.
 * I think I either have some weird FTP problem, or I’m just not doing something
   right.
 * Thanks for responding though :).

 * you can always can try another FTP software (I usually use filezila) and if you
have a web based manager for your site (like cpanel), with you hosting you can
try to change the permissions with that and not the actual ftp client…
